The Muvin week

This is what we commit to, every week. It sets the blocks that move the business forward, so nobody has to decide from scratch each morning what they should be doing.

Times are the fixed points. Everything else fits around them.

The week

Six days, left to right. Mornings on the top band, afternoons on the band below. The three Prospect and Connect blocks are the spine of the week. Keep them.

How we come together

Most often at the top, least often at the bottom.

  1. Weekly

    The Monday huddle

It sits in the week above. Here it is the weekly rung: the one thing we all turn up to every week.

  2. Monthly

    Team get-together

Coffee and a chat. Nothing formal, no agenda.

  3. Quarterly

Team meeting, then the team event

The meeting is the numbers and figures, and the leaderboard. The event follows on the same day: lunch, brunch, bowling, golf, that sort of thing. One day, not two separate things.

It is also where we meet the new agents, and everyone can bring a guest.

  4. Alongside

    Real Agency meetings Optional

These run alongside everything above. Come if you want to, leave them if you do not.

Run and rest

We do not run flat out all year. The work comes in sprints, with a rest week after each set.

01

Three weeks on, one off

Three focused weeks of sprint, then a rest week.

02

Seventy per cent, not a hundred

We work to a 70% load rather than 100%, so there is something left in the tank.

03

It prevents burnout

That is the point of the cycle. Pace beats a short burst that costs us the month after.

The year runs on a run and rest calendar, so everyone can see which weeks are sprint weeks and which are rest weeks.

Balance is part of the commitment

Gym slots, health and time off go in the diary the same way appointments do. The week above is built to leave room for them.
